I adore wallpaper! As I child growing up in 70's Australia, I delighted in my grandparents bathroom that included a pale green silk wallpaper with an embossed golden bamboo pattern running up the height and width of the walls. I was smitten and my love affair with striking wallpaper continues to this day.

Southwell, Nottinghamshire Project: Farrow & Ball Orangerie Wallpaper - Green
The client was looking for a detailed wallpaper to bring the enormous bedroom suite together for staying guests. While a strong print was required, the subtle sage green base with silvered raised pattern is not overwhelming, rather it feels luxurious and embracing creating a thoroughly welcoming bedroom atmosphere.
Newark, Nottinghamshire Project: Mind the Gap Succulentus Wallpaper-Green
More often than not, Dressing Rooms are presented as white, light spaces with secondary colours including pink and gold. Not this Dressing Room! Instead the client was looking for a layered dressing room with bold wallpaper and strong colours. The final room is resplendent with dark greens throughout, marble worktops and bold finishing touches.
Newark, Nottinghamshire Project: Mind the Gap Summerish Wallpaper-Yellow
This wallpaper is a beautiful updated version of the classic floral designs from the late 50's and earlier, ideal for a little girl's attic room as it was in this case. The colour palette of the wallpaper lends itself to pretty blue and yellow accessories; a wallpaper flexible enough to grow with a young girl's tastes as they change through time.
Southwell, Nottinghamshire Project: Farrow & Ball Hornbeam Wallpaper-Blue
Each of the bedrooms decorated for this project, required a completely different look and feel. Hornbeam, a celebration of our Dorset home, brings the tranquil spirit of the English rural landscape to all walls with its stylised motif of cloud-pruned hornbeams. This particular room featured weathered oak furniture and a 4 poster black ebonized bed. Using this wallpaper in the dark blue colour way, brought the existing furniture together and successfully delivered a more masculine feel throughout the room as requested but the client.

Southwell, Nottinghamshire Project: Farrow & Ball Silvergate Wallpaper-Pointing
This wallpaper was used for a two bedroom suite and the end result is simply stunning. The ornate flourishes of its heritage design are given a damask-like velvety effect making both bedrooms feel luxurious and fresh.

Southwell, Nottinghamshire Project: Farrow & Ball Bamboo Wallpaper-Black
This wallpaper was used in a private member's bar and captures the spirit of Japanese woodblock prints with its lush botanical pattern and flourishing stems that have a tactile, organic feel with an almost brush like finish. It comes in several colour ways but my favourite is the blue/black base with gold leaf style bamboo printed upon it. The paper creates a very decadent atmosphere, ideal for a private bar.

Newark, Nottinghamshire Project: Coordonne Core Edo Mural Wallpaper-Green
I first saw this mural featuring a pair of loved up black peacocks perched in a tree surrounded by spring florals and other colourful birds and butterflies in 2018. As a lover of hand painted wallpaper and murals, I fell in love. I was further pleased to discover that unlike the handprinted options, this mural was both available and affordable. The design is based on the Random Papers II collection and it lifts a room.
